There comes a time in a persons life when words like: love of country, duty, love, and compassion can be overwhelming.
Imagine a marine mother who won’t see her little boy graduate or walk down the aisle. Imagine a father who will never see his newborn. Imagine a sister who leaves her siblings behind. Imagine the dad of five who will miss everything for all his children.
There comes a time when people matter. The Bible tells us about love and more importantly that there is no greater love than one that lays his life down for his friend. That I Believe is exactly who these 13 are. They were Marines wo loved their country, loved their jobs, and loved those of us left behind to volunteer to be in harm’s way.
There Comes a time when Action is NECESSARY, when Support is NECESSARY, and when those of us will stand in the gap and show our appreciation and pour out the love in return that was extended to us. Today for many of us that time is NOW. These 13 souls have become our neighbors, our family, our responsibility as Americans not to forget… We have heard about these brave Marines in Afghanistan who tragically lost everything.
